707 Spotted Pardalote - Photography by David Whitfield ACT Parks, Conservation and Lands

This is a tiny canopy feeding bird that nests in tunnels in banks or retaining walls. It's call is a distinctive Miss Piggy, Miss Piggy. Its relative, the striated pardalote, lacks the spots and tends to nest in tree hollows.
