441 Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo - Photography by Kevin McCue

This distinctive black cockatoo is often seen feeding in pines and casuarinas but these were seen cracking nuts in a drought-affected Hakea bush. The red or pink eye-ringed birds are males, the female has a paler bill and a grey eye-ring.
