Spotted Grass Frog Limnodynastes tasmaniensis - Photography by Di Lockie

Common in grasslands and rural leases, this frog may have a thin red or yellow line down the centre of its back. The female is slightly larger than the male and may grow to about 50mm. See the NPA ACT field guide 'Reptiles & Frogs of the ACT'.
