Dingo (Canis lupus dingo) or Warrigal

Dingo (Canis lupus dingo) or Warrigal - Photography by Michael Goonrey

The Dingo (Canis lupus dingo) also known as Warrigal, Maliki, Decker Dog, Wantibirri, Mirigung, Boololomo, Repeti, or Australian Native Dog is a domestic dog that has reverted to living in the wild and today mostly lives independently from humans. It is generally thought to originate from a population of domesticated dogs, possibly at a single occasion during the Austronesian expansion into Southeast Asia (Wikipedia).
