Delicate skink - Photography by Kevin McCue

This small skink, up to 90mm long, has adapted well to the suburbs, this one quite at home sunning itself on a deck 2m off the ground. Apart from a coppery top surface, it has little or no dark dorsal stripe and a distinctive pattern of head scales. Count the toes.
