East Tate Ridge, Kosciuszko National Park

Rescheduled from Mon 28 July to Thurs 31/7 due to weather conditions. If interested, please register for the waitlist as some vacancies may appear and we may have enough to take an extra car. Depart Calwell at 6:15 am. Starting from Guthega we will ascend East Tate Ridge to Gills Knobs. From there we will decide where to go next depending on the conditions. Total climb of about 500 m and includes a steep climb of 300 m. Chains may be required. Participants hiring snowshoes should have them before departure. Afternoon tea in Guthega or Jindabyne. Limit 8, but initially 4. Up to four people in one car but 6–8 registrants needed for two cars. Register online between 18 July and 5 pm, Tues 29 July.
