South Ramshead Range snowshoeing

Depart 6:15 am and drive to Dead Horse Gap. Steep 600 m climb to magnificent lookout on 2040 m peak. Return via nearby peaks. Date may move back a day or more depending on weather. Chains may be required. Participants hiring snowshoes should have of them before departure. Afternoon tea in Jindabyne. Limit 8, but at least 4. Up to four people in one car but 6-8 registrants needed for two cars. Register online between 1 August and 5 pm, 9 August.
