Cancelled due to weather forecast - Namadgi Spring Walks Series - Yerrabi Track - 15 Nov 25
Yerrabi Track, Namadgi Spring Walks Series
The Namadgi Spring Walks Series is about connecting with Namadgi, nature, and each other. Our motto: the journey is as valuable as the destination. This Spring we’ll explore areas where native wildflowers are in bloom.
Today we’ll make use of the longer days by walking the Yerrabi Track in the afternoon. ACT PCS describes this as “a walk with great variety - dry and wet forest, swampy grassland, Black Sallee woodlands, granite formations and wildflowers. From Little Dry Creek climb to the summit of Mt Boboyan and then down on to huge granite tors with magnificent views of the Bimberi Wilderness - see the zone of contact of sedimentary and granite rocks.”
We’ll also be sure to stop at Hospital Lookout to admire the views from the platform.
