(Cancelled) Saturday walk - Shepherds Lookout to Uriarra East loop - 29 Aug 26
Meet 8:30 am @ Dillon Close, Weston. We'll carpool to Shepherds Lookout car park (now known as Murrumbidgee River Trekking Car park). Easy walk which starts with spectacular views over the Murrumbidgee followed by a descent on steep, gravelly steps to Molonglo River which we'll cross before we head west to Uriarra East Picnic Area for morning tea. We will then loop back up over the road at Uriarra, over the stile then across grassland. Expect to be back at Weston for lunch. Walking poles and gaiters recommended. Mainly on track or footpad. Distance 8 km and climb about 350 m. Register online by 27 August.
