ooroomba Rocks and Bushfold Flats

Meet 8:30 am, Lanyon Marketplace carpark, near McDonalds. We start by walking Australian Alps Walking Track (AAWT) from Honeysuckle Campground to Booroomba Rocks carpark. We will ascend Booroomba Rocks for morning tea and then descend back to campground. We will then continue on AAWT to Bushfold Flats. We will walk off-track (through open bush land – no ‘bashing’ required) to Reeds Hut for lunch. Finish by walking Bushfolds Fire Trail and Tennent Fire Trail to Apollo Road, where we will have cars waiting. 16 km, 500 m total ascent. Short car shuffle. Limit 12. Register online between 1 May and 5 pm 21 May.
