Sunday Walk - Booroomba Rocks and Bushfold Flats - 20 Sep 26
Meet 8:30 am at Lanyon Marketplace car park, near McDonald's. We start on the Australian Alps Walking Track (AAWT) from Honeysuckle Campground to Booroomba Rocks car park. We’ll ascend Booroomba Rocks for morning tea, then descend back to car park and continue on AAWT to Bushfold Flats. We’ll walk off-track (through open bushland – no ‘bashing’ required) to Reeds Hut for lunch. We’ll then finish by walking along Bushfold Fire Trail and Tennant Fire Trail to Apollo Road, where we’ll have cars waiting. 16 km, 500 m total ascent. Short car shuffle involved. Register online by 5 pm 17 September.
