The Pimple is the most westerly peak on the Tidbinbilla Range. To get there we follow the developing footpad from the Lyrebird Trail to Snowy Corner then, time permitting, climb Tidbinbilla Mountain, en route to The Pimple, which is accessible from the ridge about 500 m north-east of the summit. Return to the cars at Mountain Creek via Tidbinbilla and Johns peaks. The walk involves a mixture of off-track (with some thick scrub), footpad and firetrail. Total climb of about 950 m. Expect to be walking for 7 to 8 hours. Limit of 8. Contact leader, preferably by email, by Thursday 13 September.
Drive: 66 km, $28 per car + reserve entry fee
