Proposal for Northern National Park Rejected

Our representative, Rod Griffiths, believes that our ultimate aim of raising awareness of our lowland grassy woodlands and fact that they are underrepresented in the highest level of statutory protection was achieved. He also believes that our proposal has led to a considerable rethink in the proposed revision of the Canberra Nature Park plan of Management. The reference group for lowland woodlands is also important as an update to the Lowland grassy woodlands strategy is well over overdue.
