This citizen science project part-funded by NPA ACT aims to Improve understanding of habitat use and movements of Rosenberg’s Goanna (Varanus. rosenbergi) in Namadgi National Park and the Mt Majura – Mt Ainslie area of the ACT. Rosenberg’s Goanna is one of two species of goanna that were once among the most important predators in our region. The Tree Goanna (Varanus varius) has almost disappeared. Rosenberg’s Goanna is still abundant enough to enable research.
